I've been following your project for a long time now, and while I've disagreed with some things at different points, such as the non existing Harem route that was available in the early versions of the game, that will no longer be a thing according to one of your posts as you are focusing on specific stories with the characters and etc, where I hope that it is reconsidered and that at some point a Harem route is made possible, I agree that you should take your time with the project in order to polish it and make it even better than it is, whether it is to fix bugs and issues, or also avoid burnout which is something that is unfortunately unavoidable for some things.
I am pretty sure that as long as you keep communicating with the people, they will come to understand and support you, because this project has shown to have a very unique art, as well as great animations, and I am sure that people would agree that a delay is far better, than the project going on indefinite hiatus or even far worse getting abandoned, as so many other visual novel type of works unfortunately ended like.
