I really wish Bae would not always act like she is a complete stop but instead when you have a certain amount of speed you just slow down heavily when getting into contact with her. The amount of runs that got ended because i was too fast to even react to her is too high. She can still cause a complete stop when you're not going at least lets say 40 m/s or whatever i don't care, but i feel like when you're going that fast you should not get stopped instantly when you even just as much as clip her hair.

I guess that's also just some venting from me, since i had some promising runs that nearly got to 20k, but having a mechanic like that would make it feel more rewarding at that part of the run, when you got some speed and at least 1 or 2 fusions in the bag to maybe get past a few unlucky meatballs without spending boosts, since those are the only safety line when there is no rat blocker of any kind available.

In older flash games like "toss the turtle" you also had instant stops, but i did not care about those, because the runs themselfes are just so much faster, but this game can take a while to get those bigger distances, so those instant run enders can be really scary.

It's still a very nice game to go back to, but that's a mechanic i just do not like in the way it is right now.

Thank you for playing my game and for your detailed feedback.

Having Bae as an instant run ender is part of the core game design.

The player must learn to save their boosts and use them strategically to keep them safe from Bae, use the downboost to catch sodas when low in boosts or even use it as an emergency way to go over Bae by bouncing on the ground in front of her. And if downboost has been upgraded enough, it can also be used to boost almost horizontally and go past Bae.

Additionally, there are multiple ways to prevent an instant run end when facing Bae: Rat blocker, Divorce papers, Rebirth, Phoenix Fire, Gura's Bubble, Strawberry and the Rat Repellent potion.

I agree that trying to dodge Bae when going extremely fast is very difficult... but also very rewarding if you manage to do it. It's up to the player to go slow and safe or go fast and risky.

You can also try Baeless mode, where you won't need to worry about hitting Bae at all. :)

Finally, here's a little "leak" from the next game update: There will be a way to make some rat "defense" mechanics more effective. XD

Sounds promising. Also you didn't need to give me a reply. It really was mostly just me venting. If you want to maybe get one thing out of my rant it is that going fast is fun. So giving us more options to go even faster in the midgame is always welcome, even with the downside of getting stopped instantly.
