This is a very unique combat mechanic. No attacks at all besides eating? (and the occasional breath) You got my interest. Eating feels satisfying despite the lack of an animation (although I'm sure a good eating animation could still improve it, but I don't know how to do it without ruining the fast-paces eating you could do now), and looks like with the unimplemented mechanics it would become something that would stay fun for a full game's duration. Although, there were a few things that would do differently: 1st, I think that when you vomit  for any reason, all the enemies that you had in your stomach should be spilled in front of you, but stunned for a second or 2 to let you escape, else, the game is too easy. As long as you got enough mana, if you encounter a group of enemies and just eat them all to get rid of them. 2nd, I think that the player should be able to use the fire breath on minions too in case they are overwhelmed, and 3rd, I think enemies should follow you even when you switch areas, so you either have to run far enough from their current location to de-agrro, or deal with them. And one note that may be a bug: The song birds could activate their ability at any moment while being digested. I once had a single song bird waste all 3 coffees available in the demo and still managing to get me to fall asleep. Maybe make the coffee give you a temporary "awake" buff that prevents sleeping foe some time? Also, what is the point of punching your stomach? It doesn't seems to boost digestion much beyond what normal HP you would loose. Anyway, I can't wait for the next update.

Thanks for the review and sorry for the late reply!

I feel the same about the lack of animation for eating, it would be cool to have one but I don't know how to do it without breaking the pace (not to mention I'm bad at doing animations). As for your suggestions:

1- I think that would be possible with the right plugin, but there are many technical issues to solve (like on what condition the enemies would despawn, or how to place the enemies on tiles around Yaxi).

2- This is definitely possible, though this action would need to have its own action key. I'll put this on my backlog.

3- Unfortunately that's impossible to do on RPG Maker, not to my knowledge.

The songbird's behaviour is not exactly a bug, more like a known issue I don't know how to deal with. The idea of having a temporary buff that cancels the effect seems good, I'll probably go with that.

Punching your stomach is supposed to be proportionally more efficient the more preys you have eaten, but I don't remember if it was functional in the version I posted back then.
