Not quite sure a follow but if you're asking if the itch version will continue to be updated after the steam launch the answer is obviously yes.
If you're asking if you get a steam key after purchasing here the answer is obviously no.

I hate that this is even a thing tbh. You pay you own the full game. You won't need to repurchase it.
