did you go to the Washroom and get fixed up? also if you go to far down one path or the other it'll lock the opposite path.
the sink with the leaking water is what you are looking for. click on it and Makoto will tell you about the two paths which will then unlock. if you enter one path or the other it'll lock the other path out.
