Good little game, good sounds design and atmospheric music and really nice artwork!
(A neat little addition with the customizeable colour palettes too.)
Although I really like the multiple power up effects, the gameplay quickly became a bit samey for me and I only played for around 10 mins. I feel like it needed more action, perhaps slightly more enemies or the ability to run?
I didn't feel there was any narrative, we were just dropped into the game with no explanation of who Little Knight is, I think some connection with the character or a goal might have pushed me to play longer?
Not sure if that was due to time constraints, but I'd consider that for future projects, a really good entry overall, well done guys!

thank you for your feedback!
the lack of story within the game was all time constraints, mostly because we're all super new to game design. a lot of our time was spent just figuring out how to set up the basics for a platformer like this. there were things i wanted to do, like have the intro be a bit more cinematic and have some dialogue maybe, but it ended up on the back-burner.
