A very interesting mechanic and premises. The bolt loading control is a bit too finicky for me. Unless the bolt isn't oriented properly with the ballista it won't load at all which becomes somewhat annoying when the ballista is tilted (unless this is as intended).

At a certain point, my stage spawned two dragons below tower level which is impossible for the ballista to fire at. Overall, it was a nice experience and I did learn a thing or two about running away from dragons and ballista operations. Nice entry!

Thanks for playing our game and  for your feedback! For that stage you use less rotations for the crank so it has less power and the arrow drop allowing you to hit them, the draw string being pulled back indicates your firing power but it isn't too obvious but it is possible and I'm glad you enjoyed our game!

Thanks for playing! Requiring aligning the bolt with the ballista is  indeed intentional. The game is meant to be a satisfying, tactile, slow paced strategy game. Thinking behind it was that the player would either flick the bolt into it or straighten the ballista using the weights and then load it depending on their play-style.  Thank you for your comment! Definitely going to think about other potential physics based approaches to achieve the intended result.
