This game was hugely disappointing. The models, animations and basic concept was promising but the gameplay was a huge letdown.  I couldn't find what I needed to mine to complete the game. The music and UI are good and the models around the playable area really are cool, I spent a few seconds running around just looking at the turtles. There is a few animation issues such as snapping (drill) and the player mining overlays the walking.

I can see this game being really cool but not the way it is now.

Thanks for the feedback, we do kinda know the lack of direction is very off putting but I assumed most people would go mine some trees and figure out stuff on their own pretty fast, I'll be sure to add more player guidance in the next update.

Animation issues are pretty bad however all our animators weren't as avalible as we wanted them to be during the past 2 days of the jam so not alot of animations got fixed, thank you for playing our game and please stick around for any new updates or news on the game.

The game is interesting and I could see the ambition and love put into it and the hundreds of unfinished ideas you most likely had for it. The aesthetic of the game is great, cool designs for the environment and world building. However the gameplay has no satisfaction and reward in it. The gameplay lacks a lot of feedback like when mining there is no feedback that it is being mined. Adding sounds, movement or particle effects could solve it. I played for well over 30 minutes looking for a way to obtain blue/yellow crystals and couldn't find a single thing. The UI is very simple and well put together however the player's thought dialogue is hard to read. The sound of jumping and the music is extremely quiet when compared to the ui click noise and Beast dialogue skip.

Even if the gameplay was more satisfying it would just be a repetitive gameplay loop. Adding areas that need you to of achieved something would allow expansion onto it. A game with similar gameplay loop would be Subnautica.

thank you for the feedback,as for the loop we were aiming to add in the combat mechanic to it but alas we had no time to.

for the harvesting i agree that there should be an indicator of some sort to be able to inform the player of what is happening.

all of the ideas that we had for this game may well be able to be put in at a later date if the project is continued.

once again thank you for the feedback and taking the time to fully explore the game that we were able to make for the jam.

thank you for the feedback, the game was kinda rushed as our team was kinda all over the place, the way you're meant to obtain more crystals is by mining other things as there is a chance system, however you can also obtain higher tier ones by trading multiple crystals of the lower tier to get a higher one, it mentions this in a tooltip when the player is using the fabricator you press ctrl to make the buttons appear, I understand that the solution I chose the problem was not great as I know now that not everyone is going to read everything on the screen.

After mining about 20 greens gives you enough to trade up for 5 blues to buy a HP scan from the shop which was an indication of how much hp an object has left, this isn't really explained as I had 10min left although I wanted to add more to the players multi-tool tool tip.

Thanks for the amazing feedback and please stay tuned for any updates as I do plan to fix everything you have addressed.
