The gamepad controls really helped I think! Now I feel like I lose because I'm just bad at driving and not because I'm struggling use the keyboard xD

Ironically, with the Short On Time theme, some kind of timer (either that you have to beat or that tracks how fast you do it for high scores) would have probably helped this out a bit because although the fuel thing plays well into the theme, I actually found I was more successful when driving like a responsible citizen and checking my map every few intersections lol. (Managed 28/60).

This is extremely good for a first jam entry, and I'm glad you joined and hope to see more games from you in the future :D

The fuel is still very strict, if you don't manage it carefully it will go away fast. I might tune down the consumption and add small amounts of fuel to the collectible tokens.

A time tracker might be interesting. I'll consider.
