Nice Doom hommage.
Although I am not sure how magical this game is, it was quite fun!
Interesting work with glowing materials on some levels.
Some comments from me:
- dark areas are too dark (to see something you should shoot all the time and move very slowly), and there are too many of them, this is a screenshot of 60% of the game
- having only two ways to shoot greatly limited you in constructing interesting situations
- particles are too slow, I think they are just a tiny bit faster than the movement speed
- level geometry is chunky, which makes light bleed sometimes (that confused me into thinking there might be a secret area) and character stuck in invisible corners (where two blocks overlap, probably)
But overall it's quite a good work in replicating the spirit of Doom.
