Hello, very interested in this set, I have a question before purchase, are this animations separated by limb?, this will be used in a prototype where you can change armors and weapons so having each body part (arms, torso, legs, head) separated by layer would be a godsend and a sure purchase candidate

thank you!

Hello, thanks for the suggestion.
This is not currently separated by limb, but that is something I have been planning to add.

I am busy working on some requested animations this week, but once that is done, I'll add this.

I just had a question about what the best folder organization method would be for this in your own opinion.

Would you prefer:

  • Run
    • Head
    • Arms
    • Torso
    • etc.
  • Idle
    • Head
    • Arms
    • Torso
    • etc.

...or do you have a different idea in mind?

Thank you.

Hey, that is pretty much the structure Im currently using, with the addition that I have separated arms and legs, so something like this would be awesome:

  • Run
    • Head
    • FrontArm (Right Arm, in this sprite's case)
    • BackArm (Left Arm)
    • Torso
    • Front Leg (Right Leg, in this sprite's case)
    • BackLeg (Left Leg)
    • Any weapon
    • Slash Smears, etc
  • Idle
    • ...

I have been doing this manually for some other assets I have acquired, and I'm sure yours will greatly benefit from this separation as well

Hope This helps!

That does help, thanks! I have started working on this, and am making progress. I believe it might take one more day due to the amount of animations to separate and to clean up some of the new animations.

no Rush!

Hi, thanks for your patience.

I've finished adding the separated parts to all the animations along with a few new animations: https://deadrevolver.itch.io/pixel-prototype-player-sprites/devlog/797185/12-new...

You can find the separated sprites inside the "Separated" folder.

Please let me know if it is correct or if there are any changes needed.

I hope this is helpful.

This is Fantastic! this is exactly what I needed, thank you so much!

you do commissions?
I would pretty much love to continue working with you

That makes me happy to hear!

I would love to work with you too, but unfortunately I don't currently do commissions due to my job taking up the majority of my free time and I don't feel I would be as effective as I could be if I had more time. My apologies for that. I'll definitely let you know when I have more time on my hands if you still need it then :)

With Patreon, I plan on creating new monthly assets and I take suggestions there if you would be interested in that, where you also get all the assets free as a member.
