This is a fun game! Absolutely loved the music and visuals--everything had a great feel to it. The levels felt well designed, and I had fun playing through them. Definitely felt stumped on some parts, but nothing too crazy--overall felt like a good balance of challenging and rewarding.

Here's some extended feedback if y'all continue working on the game:

  • As others mentioned, the size meter does seem to disappear on some levels.
  • On that note, as some others also mentioned, I didn't really feel the impact of the size that much. Like if you swapped "size" with "switch count" it's kinda functionally the same. It could be interesting to add a mechanic that makes you feel the size a bit more. On the more basic side, there could be some way to make the gates thematic, like a 1 gate being something like a mousehole, or maybe a 5 gate being a wall to climb (might be hard to communicate in 2D... but maybe you get the idea?).
  • When I initially saw cracks and whatnot in the floor, I thought they would affect me somehow, like stopping me in place or something, like a rough patch. Very quick to learn they are aesthetic, but it could be interesting to toy with that idea, or alternatively see if other people have that reaction.
  • The "2" blocks on the last puzzle being a bit of a 'red herring' was interesting. It didn't really feel like there were red herrings beforehand, and with that one since you progress to a part of the level while losing access to the earlier part I thought I had messed something up, so I restarted the level a couple times, only to eventually figure out "oh these '2' blocks don't actually seem to matter." If you add more levels you might want to figure out how often you want players to have that experience--I think it was a good 'trap' so to say, and it's impactful for the last level.
  • This could be a just me thing, but something about the perspective of the walls kept tripping me up a little bit, especially the left and right sides of walls. I kept thinking "if I head in this direction, I'll just slip past the wall" and then I wouldn't? I don't really know how to explain this, I think it's just something with only being able to see the front and tops to walls. I'm not an artist at all, so this 100% can just be a thing specific to me, haha!

Overall, awesome job on the game! Could definitely see myself doing more of these puzzles :)
