I finished playing the new version from scratch.  I had no error messages or bugs.  It was great!  I am really enjoying the story so far and I can't wait for the release of the full version.  I was wondering will the full version include a world map or a compass?

Is the release still set for November?

It says "Planned Release Date: January 28, 2020" on Steam.  Was it originally supposed to release sooner than that?

Oh, yes. It had said November, but I see it's been pushed back.

I have no plans for a world map right now, maybe I can update the game after release, but there wouldn't be enough time to make a feature like that by the planned release date.

Is there any way for us to see which version I have on my computer? It would help me follow which patch is done. Or if there is such a part, let me know how to find it. Thank you.

I might welcome a chance to run away from battle. Yeah, I know, not the most heroic option, but oh well, some of us needs to be cowards :D

In a long conversation if I accidentally skip a line, is there a way to read up? Log can not be accessed during chats, so that is a no way. I do accidentally click two instead of one at times.

Is it possible for the alchemy table to ask if you want to do something else when you turned all your stuff into dust? It is not comfortable to open it over and over again instead of clicking on: yes, I want to do something else. It is a small thing, but I would prefer using it to the max without having to open it anew (although it is the same amount of clicks, I know.)

I never wanted to skip Christmas before, but I have a good reason now :D

Right now the game doesn't show the version number, but I'd like to add that. I'll take note of your suggestions.
Switching between log and conversation is a bit glitchy, it will advance the conversation when you exit the log, so that's why I disabled it along with the other buttons. But I'm sometimes finding it more difficult to test when the log is disabled, too, so I'll consider enabling it again.
