Everyone is singing their praises on the main page, but figured I'd do mine over here. Sorry if I get a tad too long in my post!
Overall, a very excellent first outing where special attention must be given to the overall insane quality of everything. Characters have multiple poses and facial looks, and the additions of moving their mouths, tails, and blinking is great as it helps draw attention to even some of the subtler actions in the face (which can be a problem for some other VNs). I truly can't imagine the amount of time/work that went into all the characters shown so far, but it'll definitely go a long way as the project continues.
The art direction/style has been nice. The painterly look helps give the work its own stamp of things/style, and the colors never look too muted or washed out.
The CGs are looking quite nice, and the fact some are given additional animations/movements was something I was not expecting. Obviously it won't be done for everything, but it'll be a surprise for those that do!
Good idea to also have lore bits be highlightable within the text as you're reading. Some try to use codexes/journals/something else to keep track of things and update as the story goes along. However, that can sometimes get a little messy (in regards to it not breaking, updating properly, etc.), so this was a nice change of pace.
Excellent idea to showcase all the romancable characters with character blurbs at the end there . Most VN's try to show you everyone at once (especially in a first build), but it was nice to just focus on 2 and give teases for the others. I like how everyone's wolf/werewolf forms are different (even down to their toe claws, like what the heck!), and they aren't all just bulking hulking masses of muscles (which I would love regardless, but still!). They all seem intriguing, but if I had to choose a favorite based on the picture of the main page, the warrior wolf in the middle might be my main go to, but the scary one on the right has my attention, probably because he's so scary looking (flirting with danger and all that). But overall, everyone has stuff I want to see more of, which is all you can ask for in developing project.
Most critiques/notes I have are mostly down to nitpicks/small things that don't matter too much. So before I get into those I'll just say that as long as the quality continues, don't be worried about doing something crazy like trying to release monthly builds. That works for some creators of course, but I think most would be fine to just have you go at your own discretion.
I was a little confused at the river scene with the white wolf. Confused in the sense of, I wasn't sure if this was a symbolic thing being shown, or if the body of a white wolf was nearby and out of sight to create a mystery. Not sure if I missed something or if it was a bit unclear.
It also felt a little unclear if the lore was stating Humans AND Wolves can be moontouched and be given a gift. I think the terms differentiating the two made it seem like that. If true, then that's something I look forward to learning about as the story unfolds, but if not, that might be something to keep in mind to clear up.
It might be a benefit to also list how certain names/terms are spoken in the text somewhere? Like, how the wolf god's name is pronounced for example. It's not an immediate thing in the grand scheme of things, but might be something keep a note of as the project goes on. It has been helpful on other projects that mainly deal in names/cultures that aren't the norm, so it might be something to look into/experiment with. Like the lore bits for example.
Lack of music, but that's something you are already aware of and that can be amended with time.
Other than those little things, just keep up the good work!
