Thanks for playing! The main trick to the game is walling off many "safe zones" to try to always have a place to retreat to. You can also wait in safety for stars to appear nearby. (They respawn when a frog touches them.) Playing defensively like this, I reach level 25 more often than I fail.
As your level increases, the frog and star spawn caps increase, and eventually frogs gain the ability to spawn in place of ice blocks, which can compromise your safe areas pretty quickly. My favorite part is judging whether to attempt to repair a wall or give it up and retreat to another area.
