So I play on my phone because I don't have a computer but when I connect my Xbox controller only a few buttons work

The joysticks, A, B, X, Y, the some d-pads didn't work, rt, and rb, lb, didn't work
Only down D-Pad button work, one for flashlight. But the rest is a dud. Is it due to a bug or did I download it incorrectly?
