I ran this for my wife and six-year-old and we had a great time! They negotiated the goblin village by bamboozling the goblins, snuck around giant fleas, battled giant earwigs and rescued the princess from under the ogre's nose.
We used Princesses and Palaces as the ruleset without any serious conversion needed. The content is open-ended in a good way; there's enough here to just run an adventure as written in a unique setting, but there's also plenty of places you can make it your own. I adlibbed in chunks to make it fit better into the world we've created and it fitted like...well, like a comfy old boot 😁
