I was able to download a REXX interpreter for Win11 to play Moon-House Technician. I found it ot be an enjoyable quest reminiscent of a 16 bit retro game. It is based on a menu system where an 11 year old ends up exploring the Moon. As the into suggests, it is best to leave the interpreter running and come back to the game as you find time.

I was also able to upload the game source to sdf.org and play the game on their system. This might be useful for players that don’t want to download and install an interpreter on their local machine.

After a while the game became mechanical. I still like the game and figured out a way to get to the end after being returned to the Earth a couple of times.

The retro based game is creative and a good play.

With ParserComp 2026 on the horizon, I popped back in and see I missed this a couple of years back. Thank you so much for taking the time to play it, however rough and archaic it turned out! It was a fascinating experiment and I suspect that it will be revisited again down the road and given a more modern touch. The mechanical nature of the game spoiled it in the end, but it was a blast working on it for ParserComp 2024!

My sincere apologies for missing this. I do appreciate every playthrough.

Good deal. Maybe you can enter a game for 26.

Thank you, Jeff
