Since this is UTFS, I'm sure that nothing bad will happen...right???

The entire game is incredibly polished and slick. The interface is pretty much perfectly designed to mimic a phone (and the game plays perfectly on Android), from the unlock screen to the main menu to the texting and call screens. There's a lot of care and attention to detail put in, including the little Wi-fi and battery icons, and I loved the animations as the texts came on screen.

The game takes place in text and video chats, detailing the experiences of a squad of recruits in the UTFS universe as they attend a military academy. It's a good use of O2A2's strict text limits, and despite the number of characters, you get a good idea of their personalities based on the way they speak and interact.

The art is GORGEOUS. The UI has a really slick and modern feel, and Felix's sprite is SO dang pretty. The VA also did a fantastic job, perfectly conveying the feel of a bumbling teenager trying to talk to his crush.

===SPOILER===

Despite how complex the UTFS universe is, the game does a good job of communicating the needed information so that you can understand what's occurring even if you haven't been introduced to the world and characters before. From the start, it's clear that Tamara is a little awkward with the rest of the recruits due to her status; as the story progresses, Tamara plays the role of a "team mediator" along with Felix, and it's clear how, as two of the mature ones in the room, they grow closer. Though we only see fragments, the progression of the romance feels natural. In the end, as they celebrate their graduation, you can tell how close the group has grown, and how close Tamara and Felix have gotten - making Tamara's death right after all the more tragic. I enjoyed the callback to the death of Felix's sister, showing how it affected him despite how well-adjusted he appears in the present.

I really enjoyed this! The camaraderie reminded me of the dynamic between the military squad in Re:Idealize, and the game did an excellent job of fleshing out Tamara and Felix's characters in a strict text limit. Fantastic work!
