This game has a good gameplay base and an enticing loop, but there are multiple slight oversights and issues with the controls and enemy design that makes the game feel unsatisfying to play, often I snipe a room from outside with the default spell since it's just flatly less dangerous, since giants tend to block the doorway, since melee hit detection is short and can get you directly in the line of fire.
In my opinion, there should be less incentive to use range and more for melee, but it's a very good game nonetheless.
