Will it save progress? Like do we have to delete it and redownload? Sorry I'm not familiar with itch games
Saves follow you, but in case something doesn't work open settings and turn off "terminate at unseen text" that will allow you to skip freely.
Also yes, to update the game you download the newest version and delete the old one.
