Really neat idea and execution! I wish I was better at it.

I thought I had a good strategy, put all the turrets on the left and hold my position on the right, always repairing the closest window. It sort of worked sometimes, but not well enough to keep me alive for long. I'm sure winning at blackjack is the key to success, but I'm always in such a panic mode during the building period that I barely manage to get the turrets in place.

I like the art, everything is stylish but clear. The music is appropriately tense.

Also I appreciate that I'm playing as "the shakiest gun in the West" since it gives me an excuse for being a bad shot!

The only thing I'd note is that I'd like to be able to reload manually. I know I can just fire off a shot wildly to empty the chamber and trigger auto-reloading. That's probably a better strategy since there's a chance it'll hit some vamp as it wanders in, but I couldn't get into that headspace and, instead, I pushing R as if it was going to do something. :)

[Edit] I forgot to mention the scoreboard! A great inclusion, I did nearly as well as a Taco!

Hey Satinel thanks so much for playing and giving such well thought out feedback! I think manual reload is an excellent idea as many others have expressed to me that this would be great to have. That is an excellent score that you were able to achieve 👍 After the voting period ends, my brothers and I plan to refine our game but to make it fair to all the players who have put in the blood sweat and tears during this initial phase where the game is quite punishing we plan to take a snapshot of the top 10 and keep that in the game as a "Hall of Fame" I wouldn't be too surprised if your score makes it in! 😜
Great job on Last Fantasy: The Final Stand, that's been one of my favs to play :D

Hey Satinel,

About a year ago, you took the time to play Dracs After Dusk during the 2024 game jam. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for supporting us back then—it truly meant a lot!

Fast forward a year later...we’re excited to share that Dracs After Dusk now has a playable free demo on Steam! That game jam version was the very beginning, and your feedback helped shape what the game has become. We’ve added tons of new features, updates, and polish—and we’d love for you to check out how far it's come. If you're up for it, you can check out the demo on Steam here (Feel free to wishlist too if you enjoy it!)

Thanks again for being part of the game’s origin story—we can’t wait to hear what you think of the updated version!

– The Olive Hill Studios Team

Congratulations on your upcoming Steam release! 🎊

Thanks so much for the note back Satinel! We really appreciate your support :) How have things been with you since the Game Jam last year? Working on anything exciting these days?

This year's jam just ended, so I was doing that!

I think I bit off a bit too much this time around, but now it's the reviewing phase so I'll get to see what everyone else worked in. :)

I did download your demo and will definitely give it a try as well!
