wow.... didnt expect full story out of jam game... rly enjoyable and interesting experience. Only real feedback would be some QoL like autofill like cmd has(so just writing necessery amount of letters is enough) and being able to select old commands with up arrow(also in cmd) would have been helpful but other than that rly nice!

taking advantage of the fact that we have a talented storywriter in our team 😉 and I really wanted to implement autocomplete and up arrow redo before deadline but I sadly ran out of time..

I loved this game so much! The twist with controlling the character via a Unix terminal was very cool and the story was very engaging. Also I can't not mention how cute the art was. I'm really impressed your team created this for a jam, and with less time too!

I got to the normal ending and then obsessively kept playing until I got the hidden ending too :) Thanks for sharing!

thank you for your feedback! I am so glad that it is intriguing enough for someone to play till the very end!

for anyone who plays but failed to get to the normal ending to see the fancy animation I prepared, (because of the poor design choices or lack of intuitive hints), here's a brief (with no major spoilers) walkthrough to the normal ending https://shrib.com/#Jonah5M4Y51w

Adoring this one! It's a really creative way to structure a puzzle/narrative game, and I had lots of fun figuring things out. The themes also resonated with me, as there is a lot here that probably most people are able to relate to in some way.

There is a bit of irony of there not being a Linux version in a Unix style narrative adventure, though, I must admit :D Ran without issue in wine, though, thankfully!

When I reached the end (?) I tried to fool around a bit to see if there's something more to unlock, ended up contacting B and the game glitchily triggered the ending on top of the ending - so some polish issues seem to be there that are more than understandable with the time limit.

Loving this, hope it will get more eyes on it!

so much thx for playing this!! contacting B doesn't make any new progress beyond the normal ending and the ending does have a lot of bugs unfortunately... but it does have a hidden ending if you attempt to do something with "ESCAPE THIS REALITY" on a more aggressive approach... (supposed to be hinted more toward the end but yes)
