The writing was good and the GUI was very stylish. These two qualities felt professional and, in my opinion, were the highlight of the game. Controlling the balloon was pretty hard though. Some collisions froze me in place. Also, it wasn't hard to send the balloon flying upward super fast. My game also crashed when I tried to change the graphics settings but that may be an issue on my side. Overall, the game had excellent visual elements and it left me wanting to see more characters and world building. Keep up the great work!
Yeah, the problem with graphics is on our side, I forgot to turn off this, because we don't have time to fix this issue(it works only in editor XD)
Very chill game, the sound and graphics work well together to make a relaxing atmosphere.
Now I'm not super sold on the core mechanics, all I could do was going super fast upwards from chat to chat so I prolly missed some content.
It's short but sweet, you y'all can be proud of yourselves!
Side note, try to make a web build for your next jam as people usually don't chance installing stuff on their computer.
Thank you ! Web build could have been useful indeed, but we started working on UE5 for Nanite and Lumen. Maybe we could have done it without them this time !
Yeah, unfortunately Unreal Engine don't support natively web build from version 4.24, and we need to limit a speed a little, because the balloon definitely going to fast
Very nice game in the graphic aspect, it is short but beautiful, I liked it a lot, I feel that you wanted to make a relaxing game and you have achieved it.
Thank you, that's kind of you :)
Took me by surprise with the presentation. Very relaxing. The character desigh reminds me of "Tomorrow Corporation" devs - World of Goo and Human Resources machine
Thank you :)
That was really beautiful. Short and sweet. Love all visuals and sounds and characters. Controls were really nice. You did a really good job on this. I just wish it was a little longer.
It took us a while to refine the mechanics, that we made the level design 3 times smaller than we expected at the last minute.
Thanks for the rating
Honestly though, it's really well done. It's rare that a game-jam game invokes feeling. It's a really nice submission. My favorite one so far.
