Worms for the playdate? Heck yeah!
I would absolutely love to see a full version of this game some day!
Great job!

This is really a remarkable achievement imo. Really impressed!

Thank you so much! <3

Glad someone has brought a Worms-like to the Playdate! The weapon selection is diverse, and the voice animations fit perfectly. Also, neat to see another hot-seat game for the Playdate.

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! To my knowledge there didn't seem to be a whole lot in terms of hotseat multiplayer on Playdate so I thought this could be interesting!

Just so you know, this requires latest firmware which is not yet available on all devices. My game was the same so I had to rebuild using SDK 2.0.1 to enable it to run on all devices, which required a couple of small code changes.

Developer

Not sure where to find a download link for said SDK version so I can build for it...

WOAH! I recognise this concept. Very cool and already very polished. The whole presentation is fantastic.

Can’t wait to see what heights the full version reaches. I’d hope for CPU players.

I found the controls a little unexpected, and seemed to be triggering the look-around camera more often than I’d have liked.

Super cool effort! Well done.

Thank you kindly! :3 I've got lots of ideas for a potential full version, so I'm really looking forward to when I'll be able to get that on the rails!

Mapping other things to the d-pad is a bit unorthodox, but I was running out of buttons, haha! Maybe I should look into using the system menu in the future.
