Questions regarding tech limitation, and the 5-minute optional theme

This is more so directed towards the host of the jam - with regards to the limitation of either a smartphone or micropc, can separate mics be fed into them and recorded that way, such as a lav microphone that you could plug into a phone's headphone jack?

And regarding the 5-minute theme - should the five minute time limit be reached, does the game have to fully close out, or can it either restart from the beginning or send the player back to the main menu?

Hi !

For the question on microphone recording, the important thing is simply to record the sound of the voice, whatever the medium. Laptops very often have a built-in microphone. It is also very common to have a smartphone that can record voice. Afterwards, each one does with the possibilities he has: if the participant has a professional microphone, or even a professional recording studio available, good for him. Whatever happens, it is possible to make do with the means at hand: the audio restriction does not penalize according to the material owned.

For the 5-minute restriction, the game ends. The developer is free to completely close the game, or to return to the main menu. The player can try endlessly to play the game, improving little by little, or collecting new useful information before the game ends. The important thing is that at the end of the 5 minutes, if the player wants to continue playing, he will have to start a new game, enriched by what he knows from his previous games. And if a person wants to be able to reach the end of the game, after having understood everything to expect, the end must be accessible within 5 minutes maximum from the start of the game. Without there being a backup system to load.

Hoping to have answered the questions.

Awesome, yes you did. Thanks so much!
