Felt like a clicker without any clicking. I think clicking to gain resources slightly faster would have made it more engaging.
I messed up a bit and saw what you meant by resource strategy, ended up with tons of gold by no room left for the other monsters. >.<
Could have used some audio, and some subtle background ambient music.
The art is very nice, though the monsters on the cards are getting interpolated/blurred.
Cute idea! Took me a minute to figure out what to do, but these sorts of games aren't really in my wheelhouse. The monster sprites are super cute!
