Description
This is a submission for "Weekly Note Composing Jam #19" wherein participants are invited to work on a song given the prompt "Rainy Weather". As it happens, when I went to check what the theme was for this week's Weekly Note Jam, I had just gotten home after driving through a torrential downpour, which really created hazardous driving conditions due to limited visibility... so that was very much the inspiration for my interpretation of this jam's theme (and tbh I kinda' wanted to do a rock track anyway). DAW: FL Studio VSTs: Korg M1 and Triton, Arturia Pigments, Steven Slate Drums 5.5 Equipment: Ibanez Gio, Focusrite Scarlett Solo Plugins: Guitar Rig 6, Waves Magma Tubes Stereo, Waves Magma Channel Strip, Fruity Balance, Limiter, Spreader, and Compressor.

Something about the guitar solo is popping out of the mix a bit for me. I think it might need just a tad more delay/reverb or some EQ work to blend in with the rest of the track a bit more. Not quite sure, though

I like the contrast between the sections and like how you open up the stereo space with the panned rhythm guitar parts. It really helps to make the different sections sound distinct from each other even though the base elements are largely the same. I also like the combo between the guitars and the synths

Did you play the guitar parts yourself?
