Really nice sprites, and huge amount of content, it feels very open and Zelda-like! I hope you keep working on it, once the bugs are fixed and maybe some sound added, this could be one of the most complete WASM-4 games.

I'm glad you like it! Our goal with this game was to push the storage limitations as far as we could. Having so many layers in the tilemap brought us over the edge on cart size a couple times requiring some fun optimizations each time.

I don't know if cartidge out of memory access is a joke or not, but I can't move farther because of it. Please fix or help me understand what to do next :)

Ha, sorry you ran into some bugs! There were still a handful of map compression related bugs which we didn't make the cut to be fixed before the end of the jam, unfortunately.

haha i generated some parts of the  C code too (sprites, maps and lookup table for collisions, with ruby and js), metaprograms high five! ;)
