Very cool! Played half of it on stream, so far very interesting!
Need to get my boy!
I am really enjoying the descriptions of historical parts and ghost stories of Edinburgh.

So far a great experience.

Thank you so much! I'm really happy to hear that you're enjoying the game so far. I watched your stream and absolutely loved it. It was nice to see you researching the different parts of Edinburgh throughout :)

Since it was a question raised during the stream, I used to be a tour guide and I studied tourism at university, so I wanted to include some of these little pieces of information that I picked up :)

Thank you once again!

I hope our voice acting wasn't too offensive haha.

How many different endings do you have just out of curiosity?

Developer

Not at all! I found it really funny lol. I particularly loved Delilah's voice 😆

There are 3 main endings. There's a good, neutral and bad ending... but depending on some of your choices, there is the possibility that some of these endings may change slightly :)

I probably shouldn't give too much away, but my focus was on trying to make it as replayable as possible :)

I do like a good Nosferatu story. Very well written. Would do anything for Ace <3
I did like the choices and I felt satisfied with the outcome.
The art was cool as well. Was it made via machine learning or a photoshop filter?
Music or sounds would have been nice.

Thank you so much! I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed it.

The art was made through machine learning from real life photos :)

Yeah, I'm sorry about the lack of music and sound effects. I did intend on adding them in but unfortunately I was running out of time to submit to the game jam :(

This was quite enjoyable. I'm not normally much of a Nosferatu fan, but the interesting art drew my attention so I figured I'd give it a shot and was quite pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it.

The story was simple but interesting, and though I had a clear plan for how I wanted to handle things going through it, there were points that I felt obligated to go a different path which I find to be an excellent indication of quality as it means you've been pulled into the story and lose yourself in the character and the moment of the events. I'm also a huge fan of the metaplot of VtM, and what you learn about the Prince was exciting for me. :)

In terms of game systems, this was quite nicely fleshed out too which was great to see. I would have expected less functionality from something made in such a short time frame so great job on having so many options available! I've played professionally made visual novels with fewer features.

Overall, I had a lot of fun. Thank you for the unique experience. :D

Thank you so much! It's really encouraging to hear that you enjoyed the game, especially since it's my first attempt at making one. I also missed the equivalent of two weeks of the competition so I had to cut down on a lot of content I had planned originally (music, sound effects, side quests and other things). I really appreciate the feedback!

Hey, I tried to download this (both the solo win version and the win-linux version) but when trying to extract the files nothing will transfer from the zip folder. Essentially, it remains stuck at 0%. This may be a problem on my side rather than yours, but I thought I'd let you know!

Developer

Oh dear. That's very strange indeed as it seems to work fine on my end. I'll look into this some more and see if there's anything I can do. Thank you for letting me know, and I'm sorry that it didn't work for you :(

Hey, it just worked! No idea what got it unstuck but all good now.

Played it! I really enjoyed how you organised the various ways in which the characters could double cross each other it was a very fun little adventure.

Yay! I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for playing it :)
