  • The core idea is interesting. I would've built a smaller environment with more recognizable landmarks for helping the player navigate. The inventory belt for the music/weapon is a bit too obtrusive and difficult to play around.

Looks a lot of fun!

The premise / concept for the game was very creative and original!
The gun really hit the theme well!
I can tell a lot of work went into the idea :)

A few minor comments:

The main issue I think, is the exact same one we had, the scale / scope of the game was a little too large for a jam, but I think if you guys carried on dev and polished things up, the game could actually be really good! :D

From just playing I couldn't really figure out how to gun worked (i pieced it together from the screenshots you have on here), but when I did, I was pretty impressed by the mechanics behind it (scratching the disk and firing it was really cool :D).
Although I couldn't manage to get it to fire reliably (i.e scratching / touching the disk wouldn't always let me fire), but maybe that's just me!

EDIT: After watching the video on the game page, I learned how to use it properly!

The locomotion movement + its speed, was pretty bad for motion sickness, again if you toned down the scale of the game (i.e indoor / smaller map) this wouldn't have been so bad.

p.s teleportation was on the controller mapping but I couldn't get it to work? (Oculus Rift / SteamVR)

Overall, under the constraints of a jam, you guys did a good job!

I hope my feedback is useful :)

thank you so much for taking the time to play our game. To cover a few points you brought up. I agree that the map and scale was huge. Im use to creating massive landscape environments and i kind of took a similar approach to this one. I think had the map been smaller I could have polished it better and made a more interesting map. For gun mechanics. The firing is a bit difficult and takes time to get use to, I feel as if though we could've increased the size of the disks and also made the record holster a bit larger. And for movements, we attempted to add teleportation but had to scrap it on the last day since you're able to teleport through the buildings if you push into them.

Again thank you for your time playing and for your review.

HTC Vive User here: Works fine. Typo is a bit hard to read. Graphics look nice, how did you create the belt? *-*

5 star rating sent, because it was sure a lot work. You deserve it! Thanks for your submission!

While you are here I've played yours, so please check my game out in the button below. I wonder if you can play it with your headset.

Thank you so much for playing our game. It was a lot of work creating that scale in just 7 days. But we accomplished it. Glad you enjoyed it
