What cute pets! I included it in my Virtual Pet Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out. :)

Time Scale is nice.

My pet died while I was recording a youtube video. I guess we now have confirmation that YouTube does, in fact, kill

Rest in peace, big rizzle

The music is really soothing!

Developer

Thank you. I tried to compose something a bit more upbeat but this was what I came up with in the end. I think it fits well enough.

It's a fun game, but I found a bug in the game: if you poke at a certain point, a lot of money appears.

Developer

You are correct. I was able to reproduce the bug. It's a button that allows the player to collect money. Silly me, I forgot to disable the button while it's hidden. Thank you for making me aware.

I like it, and it seems like something my almost-five-year-old nephew would really enjoy, too! I got a chuckle out of the game calling me out on my decision to name my pet "Beef." Well done :)

If you decide to expand on this at all, I'd love to see it include more ways to interact with your pet (petting them and playing with them come to mind) but otherwise this is really good!

Developer

Thank you so much for the encouraging statement! We have more pet interactions planned but they were put on hold to meet the jam deadline. Thank you again.
