Interesting that the game launches with a pop up asking for network access when it's the first launch.

I don't know if it was me but I heard no sounds and no music at all other than a click sound when well clicking stuff.

Well other than that I tend to give out a disclaimer as tend to give very "tough" feedback but unfortunately I kind of can't with this due to having the slightest idea of how to play, I know time constrains and all that can prove challenging so I can see why there's no tutorial or any sort of guide (the only "guide" in the game isn't very helpful if that is even a guide) but I would recommend adding that if you keep working on the game. Shame I couldn't understand a thing as I was intrigued by the concept.

Yeah, fair enough, we just didn't get around to add a couple of basic features. Thanks for trying to play it though ^^'

Overall I think this was a great concept!

Speaking from a duo team's perspective, I can see how time would be an issue with getting everything to work in the period of this jam, and I think with a bit more time you could've gotten this working great!

A more in depth tutorial and some more immersive sounds/music would've tied the game together nicely, and I personally struggled sometimes with accidentally placing the handle in the wrong part of the sword, so I personally felt some guidelines for where to place the pieces would've helped a little

Overall I think within the time period, you guys did your best and that is commendable, and the idea was perfect for the jam!

Thanks for playing!

We planned on adding an indicator to tell which part you were hovering above and a bunch of other stuff like a tutorial/guidebook or something like that but, well, you know, time.

Thank you for playing, commenting and for the nice words!

It definitely took some messing around to figure out what to do. I think a tutorial of sorts would have been really helpful. I mean, the tools were all there if you take the time to study them and piece it together, but even then it was complicated. I really like the idea of blacksmith work though! Having the various metals to work with and furnace temperature to manage. Along with the orders coming in for various types of blades and things. Pretty cool.

Thank you for the feedback! We were planning on adding a Tutorial and a bunch of other things, unfortunately we didn't manage in time.

I had some trouble finding what to do but I kind of figured it out and made a sword. Can you rate my game?

I couldn't figure out what to do.

If you would explain it to me in detail, I will gladly return to this game and rate it.

Cheers!

Thanks for playing, or trying to, that is.

We tried to add a tutorial but didn't manage in time, unfortunately. What you do is the following; turn up the gas on the left side of the oven, then click the "Ignition" button until it, well, ignites. Then you take metal of the kind demanded in one of the orders on the right upper section of the screen (Iron=grey Steel=dark grey and copper, orange-ish) from the boxes on the upper left and place it in the oven until its red hot, take it out, place it on the table and use the hammer to shape it.

1x left click to flatten, 2x left clicks to sharpen and 1 right click to "pull" aka lengthen that part (to create a handguard or such)

Hope this helps ^^'

Uunfortunately even with my new found knowledge, I still couldn't do anything.

I think I managed to make one sword once, because my highscore is 1000, but other than that, I couldn't get a single sword made.

My attempted swords always looked so different than the ones requested. Especially the handle part. I have no idea what to do there.

I like the concept though. I just sadly couldn't do anything with it.

Edit: Nvm!! I figured it out. The handles need to be two tiles long, and not just one!

Good to hear it worked out eventually!

We would've explained everything more in detail in the Tutorial/Instructions, but you can see how that went with the time we had ^^'
