Cool game! I really like the idea of mixing and brewing potions.

The art style and sprites are awesome, the sound is nice, and the gameplay idea is also fine, although there are some annoyance that if fixed would make this a wonderful little game.

It took me 3 or 4 tries to understand how the game works not because I could not figure out how the controls work. I knew what I had to mix and how but not how to do it. Then I found out that the fire has to be under the station to even drop an incredient in AND when you drop the incredient you have to click it in the inventory on the left side, hold the mouse button and move the incredient on top of the station sprite. What I tried was letting it drop from above the station but this did not work at all.

After that it went pretty smooth until I tried to brew my third potion, I think it was red + blue, but I added the stuff first and then the red which led to a wrong ? potion and not point. This makes no sense, the order should really not be important at this point.

Wonderful entry nonetheless. Great work!

Thank you very much! The reason you have to put them in order is honestly a question of time and coding issues. It was a lot easier for the time I had left to make it that way than to try and figure out a completely different way of checking which ingredients were present in the pot.

But I'll try to fix all the problem and polish these kind of problems one voting ends.

Lovely music and beautiful pixel graphics.

Unfortunately, I had a lot of trouble with the interface. More than half the times I tried to pick up a products from a station, I would end up moving the wisp instead. This effectively made it impossible for me to complete any recipes in time.

Thank you! I'll definitely try to fix all the bugs after voting end.

This might be as simple as decreasing the size of the Wisp's hitbox (hopefully). I can see that you put in a huge amount of effort into this game and I'd love to give it a proper try!

Fun game, though didn't realize from the instructions that the recipes need to have the colors in order as i kept messing up the strength potion which was yellow green while the machines to use had the green ones closer to the start, so i kept finishing those first and then putting them in, then wondering why the potion failed. It might have also been nice to have the potions that need 3 ingredients instead of 2 give a few more points, but it works

Plus I also found a little bit of a bug where if the wisp has just been given wood to eat, you can still click on the machines to heat them up while the wisp stays in the furnace.

but it's otherwise a wonderful game and I played it a few times to try and get a nice score, the highest I've managed to get so far is 700, which i guess also means 7 potions I completed

Developer

Thanks! Good catch, I'll probably make a pass once voting ends to fix all the bugs. I didn't have much time for testing/ bug fixing in the end.

Nice game! I really like the concept and the art is great. It took me a little while to figure out what I had to do in what order and how the symbols on the scrolls relate to the ingredients, but then it was really fun. I found it a bit weird that you always first have to fire up the station before you can put ingredients in.

All in all great game, well done!

Thank you!

Man This Game Is Cool, I Didn't Expect This Kind Of Game To Come Out Of The Theme. I Found A Glitch Where I Was Unable To Move The Ingredients Anymore, Everything Else Is Cool!

Thank you so much!

Yes unfortunately we couldn't fix it in time.  One way to solve it is to push the ingredients by dragging another one over it.
