Cool concept. It seems to me that it rely too much on luck. Some times you must take some risk to keep your health. The selection system is strange at first, I think if you just remove the space 'confirmation' it will be smoother (there is already the bottom to cancel). I like the atmosphere of the game. Perhaps with some hint (like a min sweeper, but perhaps with audio hints) that tell you beware there is something near it could help reduce the randomness. Overall, good game.

Interesting design and cool mechanics. I like how you used minimal controls - it feels somewhat fitting to the games internal limitations.

Intriguing design. The risk/reward mechanism was a bit weighed toward the risk... I think that adding more treasures would have helped.

Very nice music selection. Really set the tone of mystery and exploration.

The controls are a little awkward; it definitely felt like it would have made more sense to use the mouse.

This is a pretty cool concept, I didn't quite know the best way to go about getting through the maze until I read your description saying you have to take risks which is quite the gamble everytime you wander into a dark room. The insta-kill mechanic seemed a little harsh but maybe that's why we fear the dark lol.

The controls did feel a little funky though, it took a bit for my brain to get a hang of pressing the right arrow, then the up arrow, then space to move to the right. Maybe dedicated buttons like z and x for lighting up/blowing up the next room and a second tap of the arrow key to move that direction? I'm just tossing out suggestions, either way, great submission! It felt just like an old school rogue like with the discovery and random levels.

The control at first was going to be a kind of "activate when hovering with mouse, right click to options" but couldn't get it to work properly so I switched to keyboard keeping the selection I had already done. I hope I can improve it at some point.

Thanks for the input!
