I initially used space to jump, but then every time I jumped, the page scrolled down. So I started using the up arrow instead, and aside from a bit of horizontal scrolling, the game seemed to work well. Now, I'm not sure how far you should be sent back when you hit the spikes. I didn't quite get sent back to the house and having to collect all the coins again, I had to start at a different level and collect coins, so getting as many coins as I'd got the previous time was harder. So I just reloaded the game and went from the home, and that time I beat the game in a single life. But the game was pretty fun, and the going back was actually different than the going there, so that's good. I liked the art and the music, although I think I liked the art slightly more than the music. Despite the fading in and out, the music did feel a bit repetitive, and sometimes the pick-up-coin sound was slightly delayed, maybe I could collect too many coins in a short time and the game couldn't play that many sounds at the same time? So picking up coins on beat could have been more fun if picking up several coins didn't cause some coin sounds to wait until others finished before playing, if that makes sense. But yeah, I really liked that the way to the shop was easy and the way back was harder.

The controls felt quite nice. Cool parallax effect, but you should really only deploy it though, when the foreground moves as well, otherwise its confusing.
