New game button doesn't work for me.
Really cool! I like the art style and graphics a lot it looks very impressive to me for a jam game. The combat was pretty fun and I don't mind the clunkier kinda dark souls 1 style combat. I felt like it was a little hard to keep hitting an enemy multiple times with every attack moving me so far forward, and the enemies take quite a few hits to kill so I found myself on the side of them missing a lot of my attacks after the first or 2nd attack in my combo. Also I felt like the potions should heal more with how long the animation was to drink a potion. Overall tho this was fun and very cool, great work!
The motion blur and frame-rate were making me kinda nauseous. Hard to tell what I was doing and if I made any impact on the enemies. I could see that you were going for a souls-like combat system but it's really clunky at the moment and the characters movements are super sluggish except for the evade. It's got potential for sure
Oh I knew we forgot something! Motion blur should just be turned by default.
The framerate is probably an optimization issue. Not a ton of time for that. We're on RTX 30xx-40xx GPUs, so can I ask what you're running for reference to future optimization efforts?
Thanks for playing!
Windows 10.0.19045 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (NVIDIA; 32.0.15.6094) - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (16 Threads)
32 GB of ram and it was on my 4k monitor. I tried running it in windowed mode and it still didn't help much.
Thank you! That helps.
Again sorry it ran so sluggish.
No worries, I understand Unreal can be a bit difficult to optimize.
