Very interesting game! The VHS camera post processing effect were really cool! I like the part where you jump me with a spider at the start but maybe a short jumpscare animation would make it more impactful instead of just dying straight away! I'm not really sold on the interpretation of the theme with following the Pied Piper of Hamelin because it feels like a one time thing at the start and it wasn't really integrated with the mechanics as well. The mechanics was simple but I would love to see more interactions with objects to make it more like an escape room-esque game (if that's your intention) instead of a "walking simulator" type of game. The visuals were really nice! I love the 3D environments and the objects, its giving me retro game vibes but maybe a bit of animations on the spiders and also a bit of a fix on the tiling of some areas would be better! The audio design is also really well done, I can see what you were trying to do with the audio design but maybe a bit more variation could be beneficial for example, instead of just 1 audio for the spider room, it could be several audio mixed together or randomly played (Try looking at FMOD for this, it makes things easier or the 3D unity audio system could work as well). Overall, really well done on the game and hopefully you can continue working on it to polish it more!
Thank you very much for playing my game, I really tried hard to make this game, and I had a lot of problems in development, but what matters is that everything turned out well in the end.
Yes definitely! You should be proud!
Runs quite smoothly, and those vhs camera effects were cool! I liked juking out that spider at the start!
