Ah, Thank you!
Yeah I ended on a half-cadence!

I like how the “Little Star” intro suggests a straightforward/holiday-themed tune follows. But suddenly, you hit us with a tempo change and key change. (Almost as if Santa suddenly wakes up and run out the door?)
The upbeat section of the tune is very well produced and sounds authentic to the style.
By the way, love that “unresolved” D chord at the end!
The “Twinkle, twinkle little star” intro worked well going into the Amen break. Your risers are good quality and you have a good sense of build through the song. I really like the melody you’ve written - it’s catchy, singable, and is repeated so that I could sing along; all of these are characteristics of the best melodies in my opinion. The bass line was a great counter for the melody and the subtle pulsing chords fills out the texture well. One thing that could make this even better is offering an alternative melody to serve as a B section which would make your well-written melody sound so much more satisfying when coming back to it. When thinking about jam theme, I have to admit I was not really picturing Santa being late for work. This seems more like a high-speed car chase or something; I wonder if adding sleigh bells would have helped? Overall, great work and thank you for sharing!
