Otherlings's itch.io pageSubject, Skills, and Grade Level
This game is about the effects of othering, specifically what it feels like for a non-binary person to be misgendered based on their appearance, or in the closet about their gender. (Player's choice.) It explores this through analogy to other qualities like race, religion, and sexuality. It would be most appropriate for high school or above, though a progressive middle school might be able to run it carefully. It might be good for a health class unit on LGBTQ+ issues, a social psychology unit in a psychology class, or any other humanities class currently covering prejudice or out-group bias.
Time & Players
It takes 1-2 hours, and can accommodate 4-6 players. I don't see a reason why you couldn't split the class into 4 or 5 groups, and run that many sessions of it concurrently.
Rules, Tools, & Assessment
It is GM-less. You will need a printout of the last page, and some tape to hang it up where players can read it. You'll also need large white adhesive name tags, markers, and blank paper for players to use as character sheets. Ideally, you'll also have a sound system to play the included mood playlist, and either some comfortable chairs / couches or an online video chat system (Zoom, Discord, etc.)
