I think I first played something similar in one of the early megamans. I hated it. This one is better since you're not falling, you just have a one-way autoscroll. But I also played something similar in an old nintendo spaceship/aliens game (wish I could remember the game, I loved it otherwise). That was my worst level. Mostly because I'm not coordinated enough for most autoscroll levels. This looked like it could be ok but I failed almost immediately. Again and again and again and again and again and again.........

That said, the concept is good and I presume the other 98% of the game is just as good as the TWO screens I saw. Perhaps if it started with fewer mines for a more gradual ramp-up. I still wouldn't get far but maybe others could play longer.

Edit to add: There's even a SMB3 level that is similar but I rock at that one! Because I can filter the background from my perception and realize that it is actually veerrryyy. .... .... vvveeeerrerrrryyyy . ..... .. ..   sssssssllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwwww.....

I have to admit I am way too impatient for these types of games so I found it - at times - too challenging to play, especially with the rapidly increasing amount of obstacles. The concept in itself is great tho! Well done!

Thank you! I wanted to surprise the player by speeding up the scrolling, but maybe it was too abrupt. Maybe doing it over the length would have been more enjoyable.

Anyway, thanks for the comment and the time spend on the game :)

A great experience overall! As others have mentioned, it can be challenging at times, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the game design is very clever. Well done!

Thanks a lot for the comment! And the feedback on the game design means a lot to me because I really tried to pay attention to it! Thanks :D

I like the difficulty of the game! And how the camera suddenly moves faster near the middle/end of the game. And also that dead end at the very end was very frustrating :(((. I noticed that going onto the walls can cause some weird behavior:

Developer

So! Let's just say that I wanted to add other gameplay dynamics that would have been interesting to look at! But for lack of time, I deleted the idea, but left the physics! x)

agree with SSJAbatron saying the game can be too hard at times - I definitely felt like too early on I was stuck and died due to no fault of my own, but it was a good challenge I think! :)

I see! It's complicated with this kind of game alone to set the difficulty, because I know the path...
I figured the right difficulty would be where I die between one and two times per try. But maybe that was too much! x)

But thanks for your comment!

Decent game! Nice plot! Maybe increase the mines mid game and not in the beginning! Too hard at times!

Thank you very much for your comment! I'll try to measure the difficulty better next time! I hope it wasn't too frustrating!
