Has anyone done the full 8 hrs?
Not to my knowledge and I wouldn't recommend beating it rn because there are still some new things that we want to add that could enhance the experience.
Loved the idea and I think this game can actually be really great if implemented correctly with a somewhat drama and puzzle game where you have random events appearing in the middle of the road for the player to solve a mystery or something similar to that.
The game currently seems to lack a lot of mechanics with the player only being able to accelerate and turn the wheel to drive (which is really well implemented you should leverage it), but requires a little bit more polishing on the objective, but let me know if I'm missing something cause I love the idea, it can be fun to be implemented in different concepts and has a lot of potential in my eyes.
Again, really sorry for how "bare bones" this is, really wish we could've done more in the time frame we had. Hope to make it up in a post-jam update, which should fix most problems and add more. I like the puzzle idea, but you are just a bus driver driving from Tucson to Vegas. So there won't be any mystery, but we'll try to add some fun distractions to keep you distracted from the boring ride to Vegas, and make it feel more alive.
An interesting concept, but I'm not sure I get it 😅
Controls weren't too clear, so a bit of an explanation would help a lot on the game page!
I played for a bit and not too much really changed! Would be awesome to know what the 'goal' is for the player & an idea on how long that takes.
Description has been updated, really sorry for the unfinished game. Wish we had more time to make it. It was supposed to be a sort of "twist" on Penn & Teller's "Desert Bus" but just came out as just a clone of it, due to time limitations (nothing to do with trijam's time limit)
