2h59min54s + few minutes of testing and changing number of enemies(the game was complete before 3 hours but it was too lengthy for a jam game and noone would play it to the end so I changed the numbers)

You were my brother Pepa! Loved the game. Was pretty challenging keeping Pepa alive. Loved the look of the sprites and the soundtrack. Having your bullets damage Pepa was a nice touch. Definitely added to the challenge.
Interesting concept. I like the pixel art, and your splash page for the upload is very good. I don't quite understand how it fits the theme... In any case, great job making a game with so many moving parts in under 3 hours!
I think I've tried about 9 times until I've finally beat the boss... but at what cost...! I like the character design and variation in enemies, those small ones who shoot at Pepa was my worst enemy. Great job!

Visuals and audio were absolutely your friend here! The music gave a sense of tension and the otherworldliness of the monsters came through! However, I wasn't really a fan of the revolving shield gameplay, and really couldn't see what the "twist" was.
