How did you choose to implement the Theme: Eldritch Abomination in your game?
I chose to incorporate eldritch abomination themes, including a great old one as the main enemy.

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
1 - The Cult: The story of the game involves some kind of cult.

2 - Reveal The Mystery: The mechanics of the game are focused on investigation, such as being required to use hints found from clues and documents to proceed etc.

This was a really cool game! Though I got stuck in the ritual room and couldn't leave anymore XD. I liked the different clues you could find and am curious to find out more about the people in the house.

One suggestion I would have is to not have the typewriter text start from the center, I got a bit nauseous trying to read it as it was typing out. I'd suggest start from the left or else give people more time to read it once it's all typed out.

This was a such cool experience.

Love the presentation and unique investigation style.  Great use of audio in key scenes as well.

This is my pick of the jam!

Loved not knowing what was in each room until you had to choose the correct sense to uncover what was happening in each location and space; it made it a really tense experience. The music change in the basement sent shivers down my spine.

I almost skipped it though because there wasn't a thumbnail image, so definitely upload a screenshot or something to catch people's attention; some might mistake it for one of those scam/fake games when it's one of the most creative entries on the list.

Thanks for playing our game! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Jonathan did such an amazing job with the music. I was telling him when adding the music to the scenes that it felt like getting punched in the face with tension and it startled me a bit even though I knew it was coming during development.

Thank you for the advice with the thumbnail image. I wasn't aware that scam or fake games were an issue plaguing game jams, so I went ahead and updated it. During development, I listened to quite a bit regarding the King in Yellow so I'm super excited to check ya'lls game out later.

This game is so fun! It's criminal it doesn't have a thumbnail image I bet a lot more people would play it if so.

I loved how you experience the world through distinct senses, such a creative way to tell a story well done. It would be cool to see the other senses used more, especially for finding clues. Also, I ran into an issue where I was soft-locked after clicking the left-most option during the final configuration.

Thank you so much for playing  our game! I'm glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate the advice for the thumbnail. Once the jam is over I plan on going back and adding more interactions for the other senses and fixing the final area up. I have some plans for it >:)
