Wonderful art style, not much gameplay behind it. Didn't know how to detach my tail and letting the timer run out didn't do anything except restart the timer. Otherwise, a cute and lighthearted experience for the Jam! Nostalgia for old web games was felt.

A very cute visual style.
Collecting food for the gecko was enjoyable as well as trying to build up a high score.
The ability of the gecko to lose its tail as a decoy is an excellent idea, but it is unclear what this ability would be used for, as there does not appear to be any threats to the character.
Other than that, it was very enjoyable.

I like the swarms of insects that the gecko can eat! would have like to have seen the gecko tail fall off ;)
