Great art! Love a clay aesthetic

OMG your sea shanty was amazing! (Spotify drop when??? XD). The controls felt great and I really liked using my mouse wheel to switch between tentacles. Seeing you post updates of your game on Discord was super and it's really cool to see how technically impressive the kraken is!

Lovely art! And I really loved the mutation mechanic, made me want to try and eat all the fish.

The camera angle was so unique! I really felt like i was lying on the ocean floor

Great story and aesthetic! I love how much you did with an 8-bit style

That ramp up was CRAZY! Great art and this was a really satisfying clicker game. Would love to see even more Juice and stuff like particle effects if you guys continue w/ this but this is insanely polished for 48 hrs. Well done!!

Super great art! Reminded me of old flash games I used to play and had a really nostalgic vibe

Took me a bit to figure out how things worked but when I did I was hooked. Also man that thumbnail was eyecatching XD. Would love to see an update with a fleshed out tutorial and more juice bc I need to see more of this anti-yoke game!!!

Love the humour XD And the camera POV of Bigfoot had me cracking up. Weirdly cozy vibes :)

Loved the camera effect for when you go in stealth mode. Very nice aesthetic one small thing is wishing I could move faster overall but love to see this expanded :)

The walk animation on the Kajiu is sooooooo satisfying! I can watch it on loop for days! Very charming lil game :)

When I first saw your submission my first thought was HOLLOW KNIGHT! As someone who studied game design your interpretation of the theme felt super relatable XD

What I thing could be interesting would be getting more visual/audio feedback on knowing which students to target. For my first run, I didn't really understand that I had to be shooting the students with the countdown above them and thought I caused the countdown, so a bit more feedback on how that mechanic works with something like a "ding" above the student could help :)

This was amazing! Loved the aesthetic of the game, such a cool vibe and would love to see more! Also really nice touch with the video tutorial at the beginning, think I'll try and do that for my next jam, since it's a great way to understand the game quick!

So cool to see a multiplayer game for the jam!

Great game! Combo sound effects and character controls were on point! Loved the little touch of the UI worm bar looking like a worm, and the CRT effect was a nice touch. Was a little bummed out I couldn't jump on the trampolines XD

10/10 humor! Amazingly funny and evil concept and had a couple of chuckles from the comments and scenarios. I really wanna see more of this monster! XD

Great humor guys! Loved that little intro. I loved the hands of the dragon, felt like I was a cat scratching everyone up lol. I think a little aiming reticle would help people figure out their aiming and as mentioned, a way to know when I'm about to take damage would be great and a cooldown on my fireballs.

Loved the premise! Even though I'm a giant Kaiju I wished I could move a teeny bit faster since my swivel was super fast which contrasted to the slow movement. I also think an aiming reticle will help players figure out which was they're facing quicker. But loved doing combo attacks and the audio felt really satisfying when landing a hit.

Fun movement system, felt like I was kinda trapped in a well on the moon. It was kinda difficult for me to gauge the jumps/distances between platforms, but I suck at first-person platforming so this game was naturally a challenge.

The jiggle physics on the cat killed me XD

Would love to check out more of this game but not sure if I'm dumb lol. I got out my xbox controller and pressed "A" and a few other buttons but I'm stuck on the start screen :(

The fact the bear is unanimated is weirdly charming. Cute game!

Loved the bonk sounds! In a bigger version, would love to see the NPC's react in more goofy ways as you ruined their day. This game reminds me of Untitled Goose Game (but with murder).

Felt like I was cannibal Jason Voorhees XD

Great character controller, though unfortunately I got stuck after interacting with the first NPC.

(1 edit)

The flower was such a cute lil' guy (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
I related to the little cinematic at the beginning lol. Nice job on using this jam to learn a new engine! (and loved the game name)

Fun concept. Loved the kids' drawings XD

It was really cool to see your design documentation in the project and to see your thinking behind things :)

Great interpretation of the theme and I really appreciated a fully fleshed out tutorial at the beginning. Mechanics felt good and I wanted to keep expanding my empire. Well done!

Cute art and concept!

Loved the concept of the game, I see there is a hidden win state so will try and play more to figure it out :)

I loved the little story cinematics and visuals in it! It took me a couple of tries to understand the mechanics so I would recommend adding an explainer in the game. But once it clicked I found the concept to be really neat, like a reverse mario game and would love to see this expanded further :)

I saw you post about your game on the Discord and thought the world looked stunning! Loved the vibe though I wish I could move around a bit faster.

The villagers are super cute! They looked like angry animal crossing NPCs XD
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like I could throw things very far but loved the idea of knocking over villagers like bowling pins with this mechanic.

Love the concept of reverse-pacman! Very satisfying to move around while still being challenging.

Nice concept! A small suggestion would be to give the player the option to invert the view controls

This might be one of my favorite submissions to the jam. That tonal shift after the 1st level was WILD! I think you were spot on with the theme of the jam, bc every time I chose to go to the next level, I really felt I was a monster! (Nice touch with the audio distortion too!)

I really loved the color palette you chose for this game! Controls felt smooth too. Can definitely see Pacman was one of your inspos. Would love to play some more of this on mobile as a boredom buster.

Great job for your first game. Looking forward to seeing more :D

Really loved the concept of this game! It reminded me of the weeping angels from Dr Who :D
