Nice way of using the one control rule.

I quite like that you added multiple difficulties and the mechanic of holding down space to continue moving in your chosen direction in nice so you dont have to keep waiting for the arrow to come around.

An idea might be to add the arrow as a transparent overlay to the centre of the screen or add it to the player sprite, just so the player doesn't have to keep looking up to the top left whenever they want to move. I also noticed the tiling on the trees looked a little off, perhaps it's just my resolution or something, but I noticed I could see the border of each tile a little bit. I also managed to get myself stuck in the top right corner of the map so perhaps some of the colliders need to be a little more strict.

Overall nicely done! Impressive how much you managed to do with such a simple control scheme and prompt.

A very clever idea.

Nice way of going about the one control rule.

Sometimes when I hit the trees the character would start moving on its own in a random most often times diagonal direction.

The game feels fairly smooth to play. I really like the fact that there were multiple objects as colliders. The Playstyle is definitely a unique spin on the one button rule. A few things to add though is the fact that the main player is a bit default and it would be cool if there was a player model. Also in some areas of the trees I was able to clip through somehow. But IGN 5/5

This is really cool! Very original idea for controls, a clever way around the one button limitation. It's fun how you almost have to get into a rhythm. I also love the detail in having three difficulty modes, which definitely distinctly feel progressively harder.

To improve, I would take a look at collision boxes.  I got stuck between a corner and a ditch obstacle at one point (along the upper right path) . In addition, on the hardest difficulty with the quickest speed, I went through and got stuck in the tree walls.

However this is a very clever game! Well done.
