Love the art style, definitely agree with the others here on their feedback. Get it properly working and you'll have a really nice little game!
On a minor point in relation to the floating island problem that Maxine mentioned, if you want to keep them background only it would be a good idea to recolour them to be closer to the blue of the sky, that way they'll look more distanced.
Problems with spawn positions and the end of the world, instead of moving the player forward and leaving the rest of the world spawned in the whole time you could have made it so that you left the tops and bottom of the mape still and moved your obstacles from offscreen toward teh player then destroyed them when they were no longer in view and the same goes for the collectables
i already voted for the other version of leg ninja!
Quite an enjoyable game with some fun mechanics. Though the collecting of boxes feels unimportant apart from just for scoring - which is fine for a quick game jam - but could give rewards if the game was further developed. Furthermore, the floating islands in the background are a good detail but slightly confusing since I kept avoiding them thinking they'd slow me down or trap me into hitting a laser - I would say make the islands physical objects to improve the gameplay features now where you have to avoid being delayed by the floating island or be forced down a specific path with increased difficulty. Also, as Sam was saying, it would be worth making the game infinitely-scrolling through generation, would be more fun that way. But a solid game all the same, seems very promising.
For what is there, the gameplay is responsive and plays well. It's not very clear that you have to collect the boxes, perhaps giving them an animation like spinning will help. I think after updating this game to be infinitely-scrolling and to make the interactable objects more noticeable, this could be a very fun game.
