Impressive game, the addition of audio would definitely make it more immersive. The art style is great and the slight rotation of the asteroids and the explosion when destroyed really adds to the extra detail to the smaller aspects. The addition of the overheating was nice and prevents spamming, but doesn't really come into effect until much much later because it takes so long to fill up.

I enjoyed playing this game it's well made.

I really enjoyed the game, and the only thing I can critique is that it needed some sound effects.

Really love the simplistic art style, I thought the overheating function so you can't spam was really clever as well, good job!

A fun, engaging game with competitive elements. I really enjoyed the art and how to game played with increasing difficulty. Lots of little details that added to the whole experience, definitely felt very hyper casual!

Really really fun game. Reminds me of Cool Maths Games which is awesome because who doesn't love Cool Maths Games? I love the animations of the meteor exploding - nice touch. Looks super professional, congrats!!! :)))

Great single-control gameplay concept, really solid execution! The art style is effective and the explosion effects really make the game pop.

Probably one of my favourite submissions i've tried - controls really well and I actually quite like the art. If you wanted to add more to this maybe you could add some kind of upgrade system, or varying difficulties of enemies in a wave style system, which could then open up a leaderboard.
I'm not particularly sure why but at some point I tabbed in and out of the game and the space bar stopped being registered - this could be an issue on either end but overall I thought it was worth mentioning in case other people struggled with this also. Nice job Elliot!

A very strong submission, decent visuals, and interesting use of the single-control requirement. Not just a clone of something popular, but a relatively unique idea, all things considered. Nice use of a 'overheat bar' to prevent spamming and requiring forward thinking at higher scores.

Consider accessibility when downloading, your average hyper-casual player isn't going to be familiar with a range of applications with a .zip file. Is there a better way to play this? Secondly, the laser can feel a bit forgiving, which at higher levels isn't a major issue. But it is quite hard to mess up even at higher difficulties. Perhaps narrowing the collision and having some lives would increase the need to time your laser correctly?

To be honest, my gameplay critique could easily be dismissed and is more of a preference than an outright criticism. This is a really good game, which I was fairly engaged with. With some graphical polish audio, this would be something that I think could easily be put on a marketplace. Well done!
