I think you should change it to a turn-based game instead, where you draw a certain amount of cards per turn, but you keep the thing where you lose health when you use too much mana

Pretty solid card auto battler! I wish the card icons and numbers explained what they were better, and I also wish that the first few battles were more forgiving. But still a really cool game :)
I'll be honest, It was very hard to tell what was happening. I think making the bars and number's have icons or some kind of visual design would help a lot.
Really fun game, and once I understood how the income vs. cost mechanic worked it was cool how many different strategies opened up. (The existing variety in the troop stats was good, though I think it could use a few more really wildly balanced cards, like a card with super high cost and high attack rate but low damage and low health, a card with a super low cost and high damage but also super low attack rate (like the ghost but cheaper and with higher damage))
I like the hand-drawn art for the cards, it feels like I'm playing a homemade card game with my friends back in elementary school. This would be a fun one to expand on and hopefully add more features to after the jam. Great game!
Cool game, reminds me a lot of Inscryption
I feel like some gameplay elements were unclear in the beginning, like what potions do, or attack cooldowns being displayed on the cards.
